As a sixth-generation Napan, I’ve had the privilege of watching Napa Valley transform from a quiet agricultural community into one of the world’s premier wine destinations. What began as a small collection of family-run wineries has grown into an internationally recognized region — and I’ve been fortunate to grow alongside it.
My journey in the wine industry started with seasonal jobs that gave me a hands-on introduction to winemaking. Over time, that early interest turned into a deeper passion. I spent eight harvests working with top-tier producers, most notably at Napa Wine Company — one of the Valley’s most respected custom crush facilities. There, I worked alongside some of the most legendary names in winemaking, including Heidi Barrett, Mark Herold, Celia Welch, Pam Starr, Randy Mason, and Stephanie Putnam, among many others.
At Napa Wine Company, we crafted over 76 different wine labels, representing nearly every varietal grown on the West Coast. It was a masterclass in winemaking — each winemaker brought their own philosophy, style, and approach, and I had the rare opportunity to learn from them all.
One afternoon, as I walked out of the cellar, I noticed guests emerging from the tasting room — all smiling as they stepped into waiting limousines. In that moment, it struck me — they weren’t just enjoying the wine — they were creating memories they’d carry with them long after the day was over.
That moment planted the seed for what would eventually become my own tour and transportation business. I’m proud to share wine country with guests from all over the world — offering more than just transportation, but providing experiences, rich in local history, showcasing the very region I’m fortunate enough to call my backyard.
